The Role
Pantheon is looking for a talented FP&A Analyst to enhance our Finance team capabilities and establish core systems and processes. The FP&A team plays an integral role in leading our long-term financial plans, ensuring the allocation of strategic resources, and providing a platform for success across Pantheon.
We are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves to establish, build, maintain, and automate key systems related to budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will provide an excellent growth opportunity to learn all aspects of financial planning and forecasting and wear multiple hats on various cross-functional finance initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Build out new financial reporting and forecast systems
Working cross-functionally with our FP&A and Operations teams, you’ll be a vital team member in building out a new financial forecasting tool and improving our financial systems. We currently use Netsuite and Salesforce with a number of models in Google Sheets, but we’re looking to automate and scale up our processes. You’ll roll up your sleeves in helping us design, build, test, implement, and manage our new systems going forward.
Drive improvements in core FP&A and Accounting processes
Partner with our Accounting and Revenue Operations teams on month-end close, top-line revenue reporting, and cash management. Build and improve on our existing processes for headcount and vendor reviews, accruals, and balance sheet tracking. You’ll become comfortable with financials from GAAP standards and how the company operates every day.
Develop insights into our GTM efficiency
Partnering with our FP&A, Sales, and Marketing teams - you will be asked to provide insights on our GTM spending and where to best allocate our resources. This includes digging into our events and demand generation spending to determine CAC and LTV, from looking at how our sales team is performing to targets and how to optimize their sales compensation plan.
Develop and manage Pantheon budget templates
Develop new budget templates for our Executive team on costs including People, Vendors, Hosting Servers, and Marketing. You will become a key partner to our Executive team for 2025 financial planning and our long-range forecasts. Outside of building the templates, you will be a key finance partner in providing insights on optimal cash and resource allocations in Pantheon’s next phase of transformation.
Create Board and Investor Materials
Work cross-functionally with leaders on ad-hoc projects for our Board and Investors that evaluate Pantheon’s long-term strategy and market potential in the WebOps category. You’ll provide insights on key operating metrics for both top-line and bottom-line guidance. Build experience working at a forward-thinking, venture-backed company and gain insights on how our investors advise and push our company forward.
