THE TEAM

The mission of the Financial Reporting Department is to report financial information accurately and on time while ensuring compliance.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Financial Reporting team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for providing business leaders and external partners with accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. As the Senior Accountant / Accountant, Financial Reporting, you will support with ensuring the quality and accuracy of all regulatory and external financial reporting and ensure the success of financial audits. THE ROLE

As the Senior Accountant / Accountant, Financial Reporting, you will:

• Process complex financial transactions and provide required analysis and reports
• Assist in resolving complex accounting issues for relevant areas, ensuring Aritzia’s financial statements comply with accounting standards
• Ensure assigned areas meet regulatory reporting requirements, while minimizing Aritzia’s risk exposure
• Assist in delivering analysis and reporting to executive management and Board

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Accountant / Accountant, Financial Reporting, has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience:
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting in a comparable role
  • CPA (Canada) designation
  • Highly proficient in Excel and digital/automation tools
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $50,000 - $150,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
