About the Position

Based in Burnaby, BC and reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Finance Manager will be part of the CFO team supporting our HUB Coastal region. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting and analysis for your assigned region, serving as a key financial partner to regional executive leadership. • Provide service and support to the business so that leaders have all the financial information they need to make informed decisions

• Continuously improve our workflows and procedures to optimize results

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate month-end deliverables and monthly forecasts

• Partner with and support regional executive and operations management teams on finance-related matters

• Proactively identify the information needs of business leaders and deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality financial insights

• Maintain and distribute reporting and analysis related to financial and operational metrics

• Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions

• Research, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics

• Manage and coordinate the annual budget process

• Oversee current and future mergers and acquisitions from a financial standpoint

• Supervise and develop Financial Analysts within the region

• Implement procedural changes to improve workflows and increase efficiencies

• Coordinate with corporate finance to ensure compliance with all corporate requirements

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA designation required

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience

• Experience working with and presenting to executive-level stakeholders

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong management and leadership skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage multiple priorities

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
