Finance - Manager, Indirect Tax

THE TEAM

The mission of the Tax Department is to strategically minimize Aritzia’s tax risk & cost while ensuring compliance.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Tax team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for Aritzia’s tax planning, compliance, and external audit functions. You will play a pivotal role in managing all areas of Indirect tax, with a focus on preparation and review of indirect tax returns and managing external government audits.  With people at the heart of everything we do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia — while enjoying one yourself. 

THE ROLE

As the Manager, Indirect Tax, you will:

• Research indirect tax issues and ensure Aritzia complies with current tax legislation
• Effectively manage external tax regulatory audits
• Provide indirect tax advisory services and support to the business

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Manager, Indirect Tax has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:
• Accounting background and experience
• Indirect tax experience at public practice or in industry
• Managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong organization skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
