The Finance Manager for the U.S. Injectable Aesthetics business will play a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and performance management across the organization. This position is responsible for managing operating expenses (Opex), headcount forecasting, business unit financial planning, and analyzing actual results to identify trends and business insights. In addition, the role will provide support to gross-to-net (GTN) forecasting, including discounts, rebates, and pricing programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making and ensure financial accuracy. This role requires a proactive, analytical thinker who can balance strategic guidance with day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operating Expense (Opex) & Budget Management (30%)
Lead and manage monthly Opex forecasting and budget tracking across business units, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Monitor and track spend by cost center; identify risks and opportunities to stay within budget.
Oversee purchase order (PO) management, ensuring accurate reflection in forecasts and alignment with functional budgets.
Financial Analysis of Actuals (30%)
Perform monthly variance analysis of key P&L lines, comparing actuals to forecasts and prior periods.
Investigate and communicate key drivers of performance, including KPIs, Opex deviations, and process efficiency metrics.
Deliver actionable insights to leadership based on actual trends and emerging risks.
Headcount & Resource Forecasting (10%)
Partner with HR and business leaders to build, track, and refine headcount forecasts.
Analyze personnel-related expenses and provide insights on resource utilization, hiring plans, and cost optimization.
Business Unit Forecasting & Planning (10%)
Assist in the financial planning process at the business unit level, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
Collaborate cross-functionally to challenge sales forecasts, align expense assumptions, and ensure robust planning accuracy.
Provide scenario analysis and strategic recommendations to help achieve business targets.
Gross-to-Net (GTN) Forecasting & Analytics (10%)
Support Ax Finance Head with gross-to-nets (GTNs) forecast and actuals including discounts, rebates, and pricing programs.
Calculate and analyze GTN true-ups and associated liabilities for discounts, rebates, and promotions.
Provide regular updates on loyalty and pricing program impacts to the P&L; model ad hoc scenarios to evaluate strategic initiatives.
Partner with Accounting to ensure proper financial treatment and compliance for GTN activities.
Drive cross-functional alignment and secure required approvals for pricing, promotion, and loyalty initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities (10%)
Support promotion planning with ROI analysis, liability calculations, and full P&L impact assessments.
Assist with balance sheet management, cash flow forecasts, and executive-level reporting.
Participate in cross-functional pricing assessments to optimize profitability and program effectiveness
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting required; Master’s degree or MBA in finance preferred
6-10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and/or planning within corporate environment
Experience in aesthetics, consumer, or business-to-business-to-consumer model is preferred
Strong track record of forward-looking risk mitigation to consistently and sustainably deliver on business commitments
Successful experience with P&L management, strong business partnering, and a proven record of growth in job responsibilities
Experience in financial planning and/or analysis in mid-sized and large corporate structures or lead in public accounting firm is preferred
Must be proficient large ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud or similar as well as MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Access.)
Experience with Hyperion Planning (Essbase, SmartView, etc.) as well as data warehousing is a significant plus.

About the Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $135,000-$160,000.
In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
