Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst for North America Deliver Finance is a key partner in managing the financial health of the regional logistics network. This role focuses on the Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting of Deliver costs (Freight, Distribution, and Logistics services). You will be responsible for providing actionable analytics to the North America Deliver Operations team, ensuring that logistics spend is transparent, optimized, and aligned with strategic goals. Ensure accurate tracking, consolidation, and visibility of logistics spending across the network.

  • Logistics Variance Analysis (BVA): Perform detailed analysis of Actuals vs. Forecast/BP for Deliver costs, identifying key cost drivers such as volume fluctuations, warehouse productivity, transportation impacts, reverse logistics, inventory destruction, and workforce-related expenses. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and cost optimization.

  • 3PL Distribution Center Financial Support: Partner with Distribution Center operations and third-party logistics providers to monitor spending, evaluate operational performance, validate billings, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.

  • Cost-to-Serve Analytics: Partner with Operations to analyze "Cost-to-Serve" metrics, helping to identify opportunities for network optimization and efficiency.

  • Savings & CIP Tracking: Monitor and validate Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) within the Deliver space, ensuring savings are accurately reflected in the financial results.

  • Forecast Cycle: Manage the Deliver Warehouse and Distribution submissions, ensuring North America logistics inputs are consolidated for the Business Plan and forecast cycles. Consolidate assumptions, challenge cost estimates, and ensure alignment with operational plans and volume expectations.

  • Digital Transformation: Drive continuous improvement through automation and digital reporting solutions, enhancing data visibility, reducing manual processes, and improving forecast accuracy and analytical capabilities.

  • Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure logistics accounting, accruals, and financial processes comply with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards. Support audits and maintain strong governance across Deliver-related financial activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Management. MBA, or advanced Finance certifications (CPA, CMA) is highly preferred.

Experience and Skills:

  • Language: Fluent in English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Eperience in Finance or Accounting;

  • Specific Experience: Previous experience in Logistics/Deliver Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Manufacturing Finance is highly desirable;

  • Technical: Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP is required. Knowledge of OneStream and data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus;
