Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking an Experienced or Senior Facilities Electrical Analyst, reporting to the Facilities Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. The Facilities Electrical Analyst receives and responds to internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment focusing on electrical systems.
Successful candidates will be required to have conceptual and creative skills to find novel solutions to complex problems. Successful candidate should have well-developed facilitation, communication, problem-solving, organizational and team-building skills.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Monitors multiple critical contracts to determine compliance. Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents. Interacts with suppliers and buyers. Facilitates team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of contractual processes
  • Performs studies and conducts research to determine the feasibility, viability and capability of a program or project
  • Defines, plans and manages projects. Coordinates facilities activities with internal and external customers and suppliers of construction and maintenance services
  • Develops and documents specifications and monitors contractual/procedural commitments
  • Collects and logs data from various systems to perform analysis on buildings, equipment, systems, processes and procedures to make recommendations and implement improvements
  • Provides technical support, problem resolution, training and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities hardware, software, systems and processes
  • Creates, reviews, improves and documents processes and procedures related to facilities operations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 5+ years of experience in facilities management, directly managing customer relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Knowledgeable in CEC (Canadian Electrical Code), CSA Z462 Workplace Electrical Safety - Arc Flash, LOTTO (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out)
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • Level 4: 7+ years of experience in facilities management, directly managing customer relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Experience in Auto-CAD
  • Red Seal Industrial Electrician or Power Electrician or CET (Certified Engineering Technologist)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management
  • Prefer experience within the manufacturing / aerospace industry
  • Prefer experience in project management
  • Prefer experience using Mainsaver or other Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) Systems to issue work orders, schedule planned work, track and report performance metrics
  • Prefer financial analysis experience (ex: actuals vs. estimates, labor cost analysis, procurement)

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
