We're looking for a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead our rapidly growing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team. This is a unique opportunity to drive large, strategic, and complex projects that will shape the future of AuditBoard's AI capabilities. Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction and execution for AuditBoard’s AI/ML initiatives.
Mentor, inspire, and grow a diverse team of engineers with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
Manage and develop the team through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and continuously building individual and team capabilities in best practices.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with Product, QA, Delivery, Design, Customer Support, GTM, and other partners to deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.
Own the end-to-end build and delivery of AI/ML models, services, and features within AuditBoard's platform.
Continuously improve all aspects of the product lifecycle, both technical systems and processes, to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and product lines to integrate AI/ML capabilities seamlessly into existing and new products.
Collaborate closely with Product Management to define goals, objectives, and the roadmap for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Iterate and improve on agile best practices to ensure clarity, transparency, and efficient delivery across your team and the organization.
Attributes for a successful candidate
Experience with Cloud and Server-Side Programming: Strong proficiency with AWS (preferred) or Azure, Python, and ideally Node.js.
Machine Learning Engineering Expertise: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with the entire ML lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring, and MLOps.
Bonus
Experience working with large-scale data processing and big data technologies relevant to AI/ML (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other specialized AI domains.
Understanding of ethical AI principles and responsible AI development.
5+ years of experience developing modern tech stacks.
2+ years managing a development team, specifically in an AI/ML context.
Modern JS Framework Experience: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember is preferred, but Vue, React, Angular, etc. are valuable for front-end collaboration).
Preferred
Experience in a highly regulated, ARC (Audit, Risk, and Compliance) environment.
Managed remote or distributed teams.
Experience in an agile development environment and with modern project management tools.
Strong B2B experience.
