- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations, alert triage, enrichment, and response workflows.
- Help design and build internal web applications that support security operations.
- Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot security tools and platforms via APIs to enable seamless data exchange and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve tooling and process gaps that impact SOC effectiveness.
- Mentor junior SOC engineers and analysts on secure configuration practices, Python-based automation, API usage, and web application security fundamentals.
- Evaluate, prototype, and recommend new security technologies, integrations, and automation opportunities that enhance SOC capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of SOC processes, runbooks, and documentation related to configuration management and tooling.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion on matters of significant technical and operational impact.
- Take initiative for improvements or bug fixes.
- Apply data analysis skills to generate insights and support operational decision-making.
