Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in field sales, account management, or luxury beauty/ Prestige skincare. Sephora or Ulta. Experience preferred.
Proven success managing retail or spa accounts
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
Ability to travel regularly within Vancouver, Calgary, and surrounding areas
Work Environment & Travel
Field-based role covering Vancouver & Calgary
Frequent local travel; occasional overnight travel may be required

SUMMARY
It’s an exciting time to join ELEMIS Skincare team as we build the infrastructure for rapid growth. The Sales & Training Account Executive is responsible for:
- The delivery of retail sales targets will be achieved through building relationships & influencing retail market leadership, store teams and through the recruitment, management, development, and leadership of the Selling Specialists team.
- Driving client acquisition through executing strategic initiatives/events in market, training & influencing all retail channel partners & direct reports to build brand loyalty and increase market share.
- Accountability for visual merchandising execution in store & supporting in stock position, by building collaborative relationships in market & in store. Communicating needs to key internal & external stakeholders.
- Driving conversion through coaching & influencing selling staff, negotiating with retail leadership for additional space and resources to support brand awareness and to maximize promotional activities. Facilitating and supporting all event execution.
- Responsible for driving sales performance, brand presence, and strategic account growth across assigned retail and spa partners in the Vancouver and Calgary markets.
- Lead with empathy & accountability. Effectively managing resources to achieve ROI and schedule optimization.
- This role serves as the primary business partner to accounts, executing ELEMIS brand standards while delivering exceptional commercial results
- Responsible for driving retail sales and executing strategies and initiatives within each retail partner to achieve/exceed sales plans.
- Build strong relationships with store management, regional/district managers, event managers, education managers and retail store associates within multiple retail locations.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, inspiring, scheduling, developing, and retaining productive selling specialists and ensure they achieve “sales per hour” and “items per transaction” goals.
- Plan and execute in-store events, ensuring sales targets are met and strong ROI is achieved.
- Plan and manage budgets in partnership with the Sales Director.
- Create an open and collaborative environment that influences both internal & external sales teams.
- Ensure all locations consistently support our product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions, trainings, and successful execution of visual direction.
- Manage/track regional call cycle for in-store visits and virtual call cycle for regional outreach in partnership with the Director of Retail.
- Analyze sales performance and develop action plans to drive growth and address opportunities
- Training for new door openings within region in person or virtually.
- Responsible for on-going product training for retail accounts within assigned retail territory (i.e., rounds robins, clusters, and side by side selling).
- Partnership with selling specialists for corporate events within region.
- Evaluates retail trends to determine resource movements against sales.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
- Provide best-in-class shopper experience to attract and retain customers.
- Meet all deadlines for requests including calendar, call cycle, expenses, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols, support, and adhere to their policies.
- Provide weekly sales recaps of personnel and selling specialists performance.
- Provide competitive feedback to Director and SVP.
- Accountable for strengthening brand identity by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store and ensuring inventory and operational standards are met.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
