We are building the future of connected edge solutions with an increased focus on software innovation, cloud services, and recurring value for customers.

Job Summary:

The Director of Product Management – Software & Services is a strategic leadership role accountable for defining and executing the software and services vision for the AirLink business. This leader will be responsible for shaping the product strategy and roadmap across the Edge-to-Cloud stack, including embedded operating systems, device and network management platforms, user interfaces, AI/analytics, and recurring service offerings.

Commercialization & Recurring Revenue

Develop and optimize pricing, packaging, and subscription models. Lead commercialization of services that enhance customer value and expand lifetime revenue. Monitor key SaaS and service performance metrics.

User Experience & Platform Integration

Advocate for intuitive, role-based experiences across the full user journey. Enable seamless onboarding, deployment, and management for customers and partners. Partner with UX, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver a unified software experience across devices and platforms.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

Lead and mentor a growing team of product managers. Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and excellence. Serve as the primary product voice in cross-functional initiatives, partner programs, and executive communications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in software, cloud, or IoT platforms.

  • 5+ years in a senior or director-level leadership role, preferably in networking, edge computing, or device management.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling software platforms and services in a B2B or enterprise environment.

  • Experience with embedded Linux systems, cloud-native architectures, and SaaS operations.

  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional execution and influence at executive levels.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on measurable outcomes and customer value.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • MBA preferred

  • Experience working with containerized edge compute, OpenWRT/Yocto, or secure open-source frameworks.

  • Understanding of federal, industrial, or transportation technology environments.

  • Familiarity with telemetry, network analytics, or AI/ML at the edge.
