About the Role

Lead the strategy and delivery of our internal Operations & Client Management analytics platform. You’ll establish robust, trusted metrics and reporting used daily by Operations, Planning, and Account teams, and embed practical, built-in AI (Q&A, auto-reports, proactive alerts, simple what-if views) to make insights faster and easier to act on. While the platform is for internal use, you will also shape a small set of SMB-facing, AI-powered features integrated with our shipping platform that help smaller merchants self-serve and differentiate our service experience.

Requirements

Product & Strategy

  • Own the roadmap for the Ops & Client Management dashboard (Operations, Client Management, Executive views).
  • Create prototypes and the system structure, and continuously improve the process.
  • Translate day-to-day needs (OTD, exceptions/returns, partner health, client health/renewals, QBRs) into simple, reliable analytics.

Analytics & Built-in AI

  • Deliver intuitive Q&A, automated reports, proactive alerts, and light what-if planning directly in the dashboard.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and guardrails (source attribution, documented assumptions, and human review for sensitive outputs).

Data & Integrations

  • Integrate logistics event data, CRM/client data, and core commercial signals to present one coherent story.
  • Define and maintain metric definitions, data contracts, freshness SLAs, and documentation.

Enablement & Change Management

  • Work closely on-site with Operations, Planning, and Account teams to drive adoption, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish simple feedback loops and ship iterative enhancements on a predictable cadence.

SMB-Facing Differentiation

  • Identify and deliver a small set of AI-powered self-serve features for SMBs (e.g., shipment-health snapshots, plain-language explanations, basic forecasts) while maintaining internal data security and access controls.
  • Facilitate integration of these features into our SMB platform in partnership with Product & Technology teams.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years leading analytics products used by Operations and/or Client teams.
  • Proven track record delivering trusted BI (dashboards, scheduled reporting, metric governance) and embedded AI features that teams use.
  • Strong data fluency: modeling, definitions, SLAs, documentation; comfortable partnering with Data Engineering.
  • Clear communicator who turns data into simple narratives and actions; excellent stakeholder management across Operations, Account/Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Nice to have logistics operations exposure; SMB analytics or portal experience; familiarity with QBR workflows.
  • Base at our Vancouver head office; 4 days/week in office for close collaboration with Operations and cross-functional partners, including Product & Technology teams.
  • Occasional travel to other sites as needed.

Benefits

  • Dental, Vision, Medical insurance, Paid Holiday, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, Management training program
  • Salary range between 100,000 CAD - 165,000 CAD
