To drive the execution of our upcoming projects, we are looking to hire three newly created Director-level roles that will report to our VP, Delivery, within the Customer Delivery Organization:
- Director, Business Consulting
- Director, PMO
- Director of Operations, SaaS
Work location and time zone
We welcome applications from candidates located anywhere in Canada. This is a fully remote opportunity, with the flexibility to work from home or from any of our offices (Montreal, Quebec, Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, and others). Please note that the core working hours for this role are based on the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
What success in this role looks like
Your success in this Director role is all about taking charge of both successful customer implementations and strategically growing and mentoring the Business Consulting team. The ultimate goal is to establish strong, lasting partnerships with large financial institutions by ensuring nesto's software solves their toughest problems in the mortgage business. To make this happen, you'll need to set the best practices for the entire implementation process and ensure your team excels as the expert intermediary. The team's core function is to translate customer business and functional challenges into actionable requirements, and ultimately lead the effort to design, implement, and configure the solution that meets the customer's stated needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of large B2B SaaS implementations, driving high-value customer outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the Business Consulting team, mentoring staff and fostering a culture of delivery excellence.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related issues, working with customers and internal teams to find effective resolutions.
- Develop and implement a scalable business analysis and delivery methodology, including standardized processes, templates, and best practices.
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure the team can effectively support the pipeline of incoming projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments and teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations, to ensure seamless customer handoffs and alignment between customer needs and product strategy.
- Act as a senior advisor on complex implementation projects and build strong relationships with executive stakeholders at key customer accounts.
Who we are looking for
- 8–10+ years of experience in large-scale (B2B) SaaS implementation or enterprise delivery/consulting, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven success managing a portfolio of multiple, concurrent software implementation projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive high-value customer outcomes and measure significant return on investment.
- A strategic mindset with experience in developing and scaling operational processes for a professional services team.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated success in hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including proven ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
Preferred but not a must
- Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
You shouldn't apply if
- You are not motivated by the challenge of building teams, defining processes, or working in a scale-up environment, preferring highly stable, low-pressure roles.
- You are not interested in a role that involves frequent client-facing work or high-level stakeholder negotiation.
- You have no passion for the fintech or mortgage technology space and are unwilling to develop domain expertise.
- You prefer to avoid the technical details of API integrations, Solution Architecture, and core implementation activities such as User Acceptance Testing.
