THE ROLE

As Director, Brand Marketing, you will lead the brand marketing function to strengthen brand equity, drive awareness, and build long-term emotional connections with our global community. Partnering closely with our leaders across Digital Marketing, Wholesale Marketing, Marketing Operations, Creative, Ecommerce, and Retail, you will deliver integrated campaigns that make people stop, notice, and feel something.

You’ll have the autonomy and backing to guide strategic direction and ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

A DAY-IN-THE-LIFE
  • Lead our earned media strategy, including global PR and influencer programs
  • Oversee organic social media, including content planning, community engagement, and brand storytelling
  • Guide brand media planning efforts, working in close partnership with the Director, Digital Marketing, to deliver fully integrated campaigns
  • Shape community strategy and lead execution of grassroots activations, sponsorships, and events
  • Develop creative and brand marketing briefs that inspire alignment and strong campaign outcomes
  • Drive campaign wrap reporting and analysis—highlighting wins, learnings, and areas for growth
  • Own brand health tracking and competitive insights to inform strategy and priorities
  • Own customer insights reporting, providing regular updates to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Digital, and Retail teams on fully integrated go-to-market plans
  • Lead and mentor the Brand Marketing team, providing clarity, support, and growth opportunities
DELIVERABLES & KPIs
  • Successful delivery of integrated, cross-channel brand campaigns that ladder up to seasonal priorities
  • Drive awareness and consideration of the brand across regions, partnering with the Director of Digital Marketing to drive quality traffic to our DTC channels and Wholesale partners. 
  • Measurable increases in organic social reach, engagement, and influencer performance
  • On-time delivery of campaign briefs, with clear KPIs and alignment across teams
  • Execution of key events and brand partnerships with strong post-activation reporting
  • Establishment of regular campaign wrap reports with actionable insights
  • Positive engagement and development within your team
ABOUT YOU
  • You bring 8+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, with a strong foundation across PR, influencer, social, and media strategy
  • Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in marketing or related discipline
  • You’ve led brand campaigns from concept to execution, ideally within consumer, lifestyle, or retail brands
  • You have hands-on experience with influencer programs, from identifying talent to writing briefs and collaborating on campaign execution
  • You’re skilled at crafting clear, inspiring creative briefs and aligning cross-functional teams around big ideas
  • You’ve managed and mentored teams, creating environments where people feel supported and empowered
  • You’re culturally curious, strategically minded, and naturally collaborative—you bring ideas to the table and build strong relationships across the business
  • A clear, confident communicator with excellent storytelling skills and a passion for building brand love
  • Experience with brand health tracking software is an asset

The annual salary for this role falls within the range of 130,000-150,000 CAD.
