101,800 - 124,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Directeur d'unité, Transporteur, Maritime et Litige, pour se joindre à notre équipe des lignes spécialisées Transporteur et maritime.

En tant que Directeur d’unité, vous superviserez une équipe qui gère les réclamations, notamment en responsabilité civile (dommages matériels et blessures corporelles), cargo, dommages directs, contamination, bateau de plaisance et pertes aux États-Unis.

Lieu de travail: Laval, Montréal, Québec, Ottawa ou St-Hyacinthe 

Mode hybride.

Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous : 

  • Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de plans d’affaires et gérer les opérations pour atteindre les principaux objectifs d’affaires. 

  • Élaborer, recommander et mettre en œuvre des initiatives de gestion et/ou organisationnelles pour soutenir les stratégies de l’entreprise, y compris les changements à la structure organisationnelle et les améliorations des processus et de la technologie. 

  • Établir et maintenir des relations d'affaires productives avec les unités de souscription, de contrôle des risques et d'autres unités opérationnelles.

  • Assurer un leadership efficace en motivant le personnel, en soutenant l’engagement et être responsable de l’embauche et de la rétroaction sur le rendement des employés. 

  • Favoriser l’apprentissage continu et le développement technique au sein de l’équipe par le biais de formation, du mentorat et de plans de développement structurés.

  • Effectuer des audits mensuels des dossiers de réclamation et fournir un encadrement sur les compétences techniques et professionnelles de votre équipe et facilitez l’apprentissage continu en élaborant des plans de développement solides pour vos employés.  

  • Communiquez efficacement avec les différents services pour soutenir les processus de travail et les améliorations de votre équipe. 

  • Offrir du soutien technique dans les dossiers de réclamations au niveau de l’interprétation des polices, la négociation de règlements et la détermination de la responsabilité. 

  • Maintenir une relation d'affaires respectueuse et productive avec les fournisseurs, les courtiers, les fournisseurs de services, les cabinets d'avocats et les groupes de clients internes.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit : 

  • Expérience en gestion, un atout

  • Au moins 7 ans d'expérience dans le secteur de l’assurance 

  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en indemnisation, de préférence en assurance spécialisée

  • Maîtrise du domaine de l’assurance automobile, habitation et litige

  • Des connaissances techniques en transports, cargo, bateau, contamination, blessures corporelles et de la responsabilité civile sont un atout 

  • Compétences en leadership, y compris la capacité de motiver et d'encadrer les employés pour obtenir des résultats  

  • Solides compétences en matière d’analyse et de prise de décision

  • Compétences en gestion de projet et en gestion du changement

  • Être titulaire ou en voie d'obtention d'un titre de professionnel d'assurance agréé (PAA) est un atout 

  • Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistres 5A

  • Bilinguisme requis. Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec une clientèle francophone, anglophone et des collègues partout au pays
