THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Digital Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for delivering everyday luxury experiences to Aritzia’s clients by leveraging technology to meet and exceed the vision and mission of the business. As the Senior QA Manager, Digital Technology, you will be responsible for leading the testing function across multiple products and teams, overseeing QA Managers and QA Analysts to ensure testing is executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with business objectives. This role is accountable for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and people leadership of the testing organization. The Senior QA Manager will drive the adoption of modern testing methodologies, optimizes processes, ensures balanced use of manual and automated testing, and fosters a culture of quality across the organization. THE ROLE
As the Senior QA Manager, Digital Technology, you will:
- Manage the delivery of reliant and performant solutions for Mobile App experiences (iOS + Android eventually).
- Manage/oversee the integration of manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
- Evaluate and report on testing results, connecting quality metrics to product health, business value, and release risk.
- Ensure the selection, implementation, and optimization of automation frameworks and tools across teams, with integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior QA Manager, Digital Technology has:
- Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:
- Exploratory testing, with a wider focus on feature testing.
- Designing and assessing test results.
- Delegation and leadership.
- Java, JavaScript, Git, React.
- Exposure to both automated and manual testing.
- Industry or function-specific experience (e.g., Retail, eCommerce, Mobile App).
- Prior exposure to coding and managing people.
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles.
- A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 USD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
