What You’ll Do
- Support development teams with tooling and product build
- Improve observability, alerting and automation
- Apply best practices around security and compliance
Skills You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience delivering reliable and maintainable software
- Very comfortable working with the command line on Linux (e.g. bash scripts)
- Experience with software delivery tools like ArgoCD or similar
- Open-source observability stack – Prometheus or Victoria Metrics, Grafana, Fluentd and OpenTelemetry or similar
- Python programming (Automation scripts)
- Fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
- Containerization Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- B.S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with hypervisors is a plus
- GitHub administration experience is a plus
Compensation:
- This role has a budget of 135K-140K CAD per annum.
