The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

SALARY:

$70,000 - $84,000

VACANCY STATUS:

Immediate, Open Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Prepare all picklists for shipments made to OEM and Tier 1 customers for production and/service requirements
•    DDL (Direct Data Link) interaction with Ford, Chrysler Smart, GM Supply Power, CSDS
•    Problem resolution for customer problems
•    Support T4M integrity, standard pack, AR, customer expectation records, build out procedures
•    Obtain, analyze and reconcile customer requirements
•    Maintain premium transportation files
•    Arrange for premium transportation as required
•    Liaison with all Plastcoat internal departments as required
•    Participate in after hour support rotation
•    Maintain the Container Management
•    Follow customer service work instructions
•    Load and analyze customer releases
•    Daily monitoring of customer increases and decreases
•    Review and update all customer screens on time
•    Daily monitoring of returnable and expendable packaging
•    Arrange and schedule all customer freight with carriers
•    Maintain service requirement spreadsheet
•    Champion customer delivery ratings and disputes as required
•    Required to be a part of a weekend rotation team to perform CSR duties on the weekends
•    Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
•    Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP
•    Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct
•    Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior 
•    Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF 16949 standards 
•    Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook
•    Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives 
•    Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards 
•    Ensure work area is kept neat and organized 
•    Perform other duties as required 
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
•    Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma, post-secondary education in a related field preferred
EXPERIENCE:
•    Minimum 3 years in a material requirement planning role
SKILLS:
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs
•    Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
•    Strong interpersonal skills
•    Well-developed organizational and time management skills
•    Expert knowledge of MRP system
•    Understanding of Customer EDI systems
•    Customs documentation experience preferred
