We’re looking for a Credit Review Analyst to strengthen the quality and consistency of our underwriting decisions. This position focuses on reviewing loan applications that have been sent back for re-evaluation or require exception handling; ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sound judgment before final approval.

You’ll work closely with the Underwriting & Personal Loans teams within the organization to identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and contribute to a culture of high-quality decision-making.

NOTE: This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position in downtown Vancouver.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Review returned or complex credit applications to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct secondary analysis on declined, referred, or conditionally approved applications.
  • Identify gaps or errors in original underwriting decisions and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of review outcomes and recommendations.
  • Support quality control audits and assist in improving underwriting standards and efficiency.
  • Communicate trends, recurring issues, or training needs to the Underwriting Manager.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Funding, and QA teams to resolve escalated or one-off application cases.

What You Should Already Have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or loan processing (preferably in consumer or fintech lending).
  • Sound understanding of credit principles, financial ratios, and lending compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle exceptions or incomplete data.
  • Proficiency in CRM and lending systems; advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills preferred.

What We Will Give You:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000, reflective of experience and impact.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, and vision coverage — with 100% of monthly premiums covered by the Spring.
  • Transit-Friendly Employer (Transit allowance).
  • A modern, collaborative workspace in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
  • Ongoing career growth opportunities.
