As a member of the Credit e-Sales team, you will join a high-performing team focused on actively marketing and delivering JPMorganChase’s global suite of electronic trading capabilities to a diverse client base across the North America. The role sits at the intersection of markets, technology, and client strategy, with a clear mandate to grow revenues and market share by deepening existing relationships, originating new business, and partnering with internal stakeholders to bring best-in-class electronic solutions to clients.


You will be expected to develop a strong understanding of client workflows, market structure, and the competitive e-trading landscape across spread products. Success in this role requires commercial rigor, strong relationship management, and the ability to coordinate across trading, sales, product, operations, and technology teams to deliver scalable outcomes. You will help clients evaluate and adopt electronic execution solutions, guide them through onboarding and go-live, and maintain an ongoing strategic dialogue that positions JPMorganChase as a long-term partner in electronic markets.


Job Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of the sales process: Manage the full commercial lifecycle from initial prospecting and discovery through solution design, negotiation of commercial terms, documentation coordination, implementation planning, and post–go-live support. Drive a disciplined approach to pipeline management, prioritization, and execution.
  • Client origination and business development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new prospective clients for JPMorganChase’s electronic spread trading capabilities. Build targeted outreach strategies, develop compelling value propositions, and convert opportunities into sustained revenue relationships.
  • Client relationship management and growth: Maintain consistent, high-quality client engagement to strengthen partnerships, expand product penetration, and uncover incremental revenue opportunities. Develop meaningful relationships across client organizations—including trading, digital markets, portfolio management, operations, and technology—tailoring messaging to each audience.
  • Market awareness and opportunity identification: Keep a constant pulse on market conditions, competitive dynamics, vendor offerings, and evolving client behavior. Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities where the firm can deliver differentiated electronic execution, workflow enhancements, or market access.
  • Profitability and performance analytics: Understand, analyze, and optimize client-level profitability metrics. Use data to evaluate performance drivers, pricing effectiveness, activity trends, and the overall health of relationships—translating insights into concrete commercial actions.
  • Voice of the client to product and technology: Leverage client feedback and industry intelligence to clearly communicate product requirements, enhancements, and workflow priorities to business, product, and technology partners. Help shape the roadmap by articulating what clients need and why it matters commercially.
  • Cross-product partnership and collaboration: Work closely with voice sales colleagues across spread products and the broader FICC e-Sales team to deliver coordinated coverage and maximize revenue opportunities. Collaborate effectively across functional teams to ensure clients receive the best-fit solution and a consistent JPMorganChase client experience.
  • Implementation and go-live leadership: Coordinate internally to bring clients live efficiently and thoughtfully. Support onboarding planning, connectivity discussions, workflow mapping, and stakeholder alignment—ensuring a smooth transition from sales engagement to active usage.

Required qualifications, capabilities, skills:

  • Licensing: Series 7 and Series 63 
  • Product expertise: Deep knowledge of all credit products which include but are not limited to bonds, derivatives, indices, single name CDS, and ETFs. Prior experience in sales/trading, electronic markets, or closely related roles at a top-tier bank or buy-side institution is a plus. 
  • Market expertise: Deep knowledge of the electronic trading landscape, spread markets, key market participants, and vendor solutions. Strong awareness of how electronic liquidity is accessed, priced, and executed across relevant products.
  • Workflow and platform fluency: Demonstrable understanding of electronic trading platforms and the practical workflows that underpin client execution across global spread products. Ability to translate technical or operational concepts into clear, client-ready language.
  • Execution mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self-starter who can manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, follow-through, and responsiveness.
  • Communication and influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas concisely, defend recommendations with evidence, and adjust messaging for different stakeholder groups.
  • Integrity and professionalism: Strong moral character and a commitment to operating with the highest level of integrity and ethics in all client and internal interactions.
  • Executive presence: Comfortable presenting to and communicating JPMorganChase’s value proposition with diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, portfolio managers and traders, operations teams, and technologists.
