The Creative Studio team at the Center of Expertise (CoE) Brand, Marketing & Communications is looking for a Creative Designer to drive the creation of high-quality, on-brand visual content that differentiates ING in the market. This includes a range of creative productions, from online video content to digital design, podcasts and native social asset.

As a bank and one of the most familiar brands in the Netherlands, working for the CoE requires the ability to work in a highly dynamic and complex landscape, servicing the wide base of ING customers as well as all product tribes and business lines within ING NL.

The team
As Creative Designer, you’ll join the Creative Studio team and report to the Head of the Creative Studio. The team’s purpose is to develop and execute creative productions that engage both internal (employee) and external target audiences, ensuring output is on-brand, effective, and efficient.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Graphic Design: Turn creative briefs into visual content for digital media, including online advertisements, social content, motion graphic design, graphics and presentations.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the brand’s visual identity and guidelines.

  • Concept Development: Generate creative ideas and concepts for content that stands out and makes the brand grow.

  • Storytelling: Translate briefs into compelling stories that are appealing to target audiences and embody the ING brand.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, videographers, and other team members to produce cohesive and differentiating content.

  • Feedback Incorporation: Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders.

  • Content Creation: Develop visual content for both internal (employee) and external audiences.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all creative outputs meet the brand’s standards and objectives.

How to succeed

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in graphic design within a creative agency or marketing environment.

  • Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

  • Degree: A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.

  • Capabilities: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics.

  • A salary indication of 4,368 - € 7,088 based on 36 hours per week, tailored to your qualities and experience
