The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an Analyst, Sustainability Reporting, to join our Corporate Sustainability team.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Sustainability, the Analyst, Sustainability Reporting will play a crucial role in managing sustainability data and overseeing projects that drive our corporate sustainability initiatives. This position requires a blend of expertise in data analysis and sustainability practices, and project management to ensure the effective implementation of our sustainability reporting framework.

What your day looks like:

This is a hands-on implementation role focused on ensuring:

  • Organizational data related to our Corporate Sustainability program is accurate and aggregated into the Diligent ESG platform
  • The quality and integrity of our Corporate Sustainability dashboard
  • Project timelines are met

Key responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Analysis - utilizing the Diligent platform, collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability-related data to assess the impact and progress of various projects
  • Project Management - provide project management support for sustainability initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with our corporate sustainability strategy
  • Reporting and Documentation - support with the development of sustainability reporting internally and externally, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation
  • Stakeholder Engagement - collaborate with cross-functional teams to track sustainability metrics across business operations
  • Continuous Improvement - monitor emerging trends and developments in global sustainability standards
Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Degree in Sustainability, or Business, Finance with a sustainability focus
  • Minimum of two years’ professional experience in a sustainability-focused role at a reputable organization with a particular focus on data analysis– experience in a wealth management or financial services organization a plus
  • An understanding of the ESG and sustainable finance landscape
  • Ability to effectively communicate sustainability needs and concepts
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Strong data management skills and specific ability to interpret ESG data
  • Technical understanding of environmental/climate target setting and measurement
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Project management certification is an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $70,000 - $82,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
