This dynamic and pivotal role demands a strategic and highly motivated leader to spearhead brand development and cultivate an in-house center of visual and experiential creative excellence, elevating BuildOps' brand awareness and fueling our ambitious trajectory compelling visual storytelling and impactful design within the commercial contractor ecosystem and beyond, where your contributions will have a significant and immediate impact on our growth trajectory.
What you'll do

  • Elevated Brand Awareness & Market Leadership: Develop and implement impactful brand campaigns and visually-driven content to significantly increase BuildOps' recognition and establish us as the definitive technology partner in the commercial contractor market.
  • Revenue-Focused Brand Strategy: Ensure all brand and creative endeavors are strategically aligned with aggressive growth objectives, directly contributing to continued market expansion and demonstrating the ROI of brand initiatives.
  • Strategic Brand Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and manage high-impact collaborations with mission-aligned influencers and celebrities to amplify our message and build authentic connections within the trades.
  • Exceptional Customer & Market Engagement: Craft compelling brand storytelling and develop visually engaging customer-centric experiences, ensuring impactful brand presence at industry events and aligning with product marketing efforts.
  • Comprehensive Brand Framework & Governance: Develop, refine, and govern a scalable brand strategy and visual guidelines (visual identity, design language, voice, messaging) to ensure consistent and impactful representation across all touchpoints, informed by market research and competitive analysis.
  • High-Performing In-House Creative Center: Lead and inspire a talented in-house visual design and video team, establishing best-in-class design-thinking processes, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional, on-brand creative assets.
  • Collaborative Brand Vision: Work closely with the executive team to shape the overall brand vision and ensure consistent messaging across all aspects of the company.
  • Inspiring Team Leadership: Motivate the in-house creative team to execute quickly and expertly, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment while attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Strong Internal Brand Advocacy: Develop and implement initiatives to educate and inspire internal teams to embody the BuildOps brand, ensuring a unified message and experience and contributing to a strong employer brand.
  • Data-Driven Brand Optimization: Establish and track key performance indicators KPIs for brand initiatives, providing data-driven insights for continuous optimization and demonstrating the ROI of brand investments.
  • Orchestrate a Unified Brand Experience: Strategically align brand partnerships, in-house visual and UX creative, and digital presence to deliver a seamless and compelling brand experience across all customer and market touchpoints. 
What we look for
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in brand management and hands-on creative leadership, ideally within a high-growth B2B vertical SaaS company of comparable size and growth trajectory.
  • Proven success in developing and executing impactful brand partnership strategies with relevant influencers and/or celebrities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing in-house creative teams (video, design), fostering a culture of design excellence.
  • A strategic mindset with a strong understanding of how compelling brand, design, and visual communication initiatives drive business results and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Experience in developing and implementing brand awareness campaigns that achieve significant market penetration through impactful visual strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders on creative and brand direction.
  • A track record of working strategically and motivating creative teams to execute quickly and expertly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a strong appreciation for high-quality design.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and driving creative projects to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple design and creative priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong bias towards action and a keen eye for visual detail.
  • High energy and a passion for achieving ambitious goals through powerful creative execution.
  • Experience scaling brand initiatives for companies with significant revenue growth, with a focus on visual brand development.
