Duties:
Develop and document requirements required to design an automotive system. Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies. Oversee requirements development with other activities. Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis. Design tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements. Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related role. Five years of experience with: Siemens CNC control systems, Siemens Step7, and Siemens HMI (WinCC); and GM IT systems including FlexNet, PTPM&C, and Q-Das, and Thingworx. Four years of experience with: Manufacturing process equipment, system engineering, and software development and hardware integration; FANUC Robotics including setup, programming, and debug; and 3DL Vision, PLCs including Allen Bradley and Siemens, and Visions Systems including Cognex and Keyence.
