We are looking to add a Contracts Administrator to our Stanley Park project, located in beautiful Downtown Vancouver. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Develop process to ensure compliance with contract requirements;
  • Develop and implement change management procedures;
  • Oversee the identification of claims mitigation strategies;
  • Oversee subcontract management;
  • Oversee the negotiation of change orders, variations, and change issues;
  • Ensure timely and accurate contractual correspondence;
  • Oversee pricing of change and delay issues;
  • Manage preparation of narratives and entitlement documentation;
  • Oversee identification and tracking of contract and deliverables;
  • Identify and implement record keeping procedures to validate potential changes;
  • Manage training of staff on the implementation of contract processes and procedures;
  • Maintain the change management issue logs and provision of summary reports.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline;
  • Strong knowledge of construction law;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction industry;
  • Experience dealing with major change/claims management or dispute resolution issues in a major project;
  • Excellent command of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, etc.
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Bilingualism, French and English, would be considered an asset.
