The Contractor - Renewal Specialist for GHX Inventory Services is primarily responsible for the renewal of inventory services for a pre-established client base. The Renewals Specialist will manage all contracting-related aspects of complex projects from inception to hand-off to the Project Coordinator team. Operating as the customer point of contact for existing business, the renewals specialist will work closely with a cross-functional internal team to maintain a high customer retention rate and to increase year-over-year revenue.
This is a contract position with an expected duration of 8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Client Retention, specifically renewal of the prior year’s inventory accounts as well as expansion efforts in coordination with Sales Team.
- Achieve KPIs surrounding account retention (renewal rate), on-time rate of renewals, YOY growth of renewals.
- Accurately maintain key internal systems such as SFDC, Renewal Schedule, team One-Drive documents, etc.
- Responsible for customer experience in collaboration with Customer Success Advisor, New Sales Team, GHX AR, etc.
- Nurture current account base and engage in continuous discovery to qualify expansion opportunities
- Proactively plan renewals calendar to ensure all clients are notified of renewal minimum of 90 days prior to renewal
- Collaborates internally with Inventory Service Field Operations, Project Coordinators, Marketing, and other internal GHX departments to drive overall customer value and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate mastery of services with ability to articulate value proposition to clients and prospective clients.
Education, Certifications, and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or relevant work experience in healthcare sales and service.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
• 2+ years prior account management and B2B sales experience preferred
• Prior healthcare experience is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience in Salesforce or other CRM preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients
• Ability to manage large, strategic accounts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in building and sustaining customer relationships.
• Ability to collaborate with management and other internal GHX resources to effectively close the sale.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Understands a wide range of customer stakeholders.
• Results driven to achieve/exceed annual assigned renewal quotas
