Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
- Create a positive team member experience.
Client:
- Engages with and responds to client inquiries and requests.
Value:
- Actively engages with client upon report completion to discuss any valuation questions that may arise.
- Undertakes research and critical thinking and completes more complex valuation reports independently with peer review.
- Is able to communicate and liaise with industry experts.
- Shows diligence in meeting monthly budget targets with a work ethic to excel.
- Has achieved AACI or completed demo being one of the final steps to achieve the AACI, P.App.
Education and Experience:
- Post-Secondary Degree required with preference having a business (real estate) background.
- Path to AACI designation nearing completion is an asset.
- Minimum two years’ experience in valuation.
- Desire to perform in a high-energy team environment.
- Demonstrates leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, manage ambiguity and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Seeks to advance involvement in the real estate industry through attending professional organization meetings and networking functions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet navigation and research. Experience with appraisal related programs such as Argus are an asset.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has limited supervisory responsibilities with an Analyst to mentor them on basic appraisal practice.
Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person, via e-mail and telephone.
- Independent travel requirement: 50 to 100%.
Work Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
Compensation: The base salary for this position is $50,000 per year.
This role may also be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation, performance bonuses, or additional benefits, subject to company policy.
