As a Compliance Specialist, you will collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization to identify, report, and address compliance risks, ensuring the company operates within Canadian, U.S., and international regulatory frameworks. This role has a strong focus on HR compliance, so candidates with relevant experience or a strong ability to learn are preferred.

Requirements
Related Work Experience

Interpretation, evaluation and application of Canadian, US &/or international legislation

Authoring policies, SOPs and relevant supporting documents

Designing processes and maintaining them in a controlled auditable state

Risk identification, analysis and mitigation strategies

Data monitoring, trending, analysis, reporting, and record keeping

Investigating incidents, developing and implementing CAPA (corrective and preventive actions)

Continuous improvement techniques, such as process mapping, pareto, kanban and 5S

Formal Education or Equivalent

BSc/BA/diploma in law, finance, business administration, science, human resources, or related field with proven compliance experience

Human resources or compliance background is preferred

Skills

Bilingual fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (Necessary)

Excellent communication skills

Able to think out of the box and quickly adapt to new technologies

Other

Certificate or experience in organizational change management (asset)

Certificate or experience in project management (asset)

KPI/metric experience (asset)
