Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation, evaluation, and application of Canadian, U.S., and/or international legislation
  • Authoring policies, SOPs, and relevant supporting documents
  • Designing processes and maintaining them in a controlled, auditable state
  • Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating compliance risks across departments
  • Working on international projects to enhance regulatory compliance and operational efficiency in local markets
  • Tracking provincial regulations and ensuring timely compliance updates
  • Proactively investigating and addressing security, legal, and HR compliance issues (e.g., data breaches, wrongful terminations)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR (It's ok if you don't)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel with strong policy research and data analysis skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner, coachable, and proactive problem solver
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English
