We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and proactive communicator to join Aspect’s Communications team. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO & Sr. Director, Communications, you will take a leading role in managing and executing our corporate communications, social media, events, internal communications, and public relations. A successful individual for this role is highly adaptable and eager to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You will work closely with our graphic designer on visual communications and with various corners of the company to craft key messaging for internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute communications projects by creating timelines, tracking progress, coordinating logistics, and ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Identify, prioritize, and act on external opportunities including thought leadership, sponsorship, media outreach, and award applications
- Coordinate and monitor our public relations efforts, including drafting and posting press releases and news stories, as well as reporting on results
- Inform, inspire, and engage the Aspect team by developing and distributing clear internal communications
- Collaborate with our graphic designer to ensure we create the appropriate graphics and imagery for social media, slide decks, and other mediums that align with our brand and elevate our written messages
- Spearhead the planning and coordination of our internal team events including all-hands meetings, guest speaker sessions, and social events to enhance team engagement and strengthen company culture
- Support the planning and organizing of conference attendance, including logistics, slide deck presentations, and speaker preparation, to elevate Aspect’s image as a leader in the field
- Manage our website and social media calendar, including planning, creating, scheduling, and monitoring posts
- Gather and analyze data related to communication efforts and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare briefing documents and pre-reading materials for key meetings to ensure participants are informed and well equipped for effective discussion
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: A post-secondary education in communications, marketing, public relations, or a scientific field + 3-5 years in a communications role in a high-growth tech or biotech organization
- Writing & Editing Skills: You have excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail when reviewing written and visual communications.

The hiring range for this role is $62,000 - $80,000, annually. Our ranges are based on market data. Offered salaries will be based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. For candidates who exceed role requirements, we are open to exploring above-range offers. Note that base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Aspect.
