Department Overview
At Motorola Solutions we are helping solve some of the biggest challenges around safety and physical security by developing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are used to help keep people, businesses, and cities around the world safer. Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.
Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to shape our pricing and packaging strategies, define product priorities, and support key business decisions, including partnerships, programs, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In this role, you will perform ad-hoc and periodic analyses to identify business drivers and provide actionable recommendations, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, R&D, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize pricing and packaging strategies to drive business growth.

  • Conduct internal and external data analysis to provide strategic recommendations.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on product priorities and business decisions.

  • Support key initiatives, including partnerships, special programs, and M&A opportunities.

  • Deliver insights and analyses to influence executive-level decision-making.

  • Superior analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data quickly.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to gain executive buy-in and build field trust.

Target Base Salary Range: $123,000 - $133,000 CAD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
