How You'll Make An Impact

As a technical sales strategist, you’ll partner with our Commercial Sales teams to define and recommend suitable Boomi solutions. You’ll help customers achieve their desired business outcomes by presenting the value of solutions and recommending high-level technical strategies. You’ll collaborate with Commercial Account Managers to understand client needs and demonstrate how Boomi's integration, automation, and orchestration platform solves complex business challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to determine customer needs and understand technical landscapes
  • Pinpoint customer pain points and tailor solutions that deliver value beyond merely addressing the stated issues
  • Engage with clients to assess current platform usage and uncover additional opportunities where Boomi can provide value
  • Deliver impactful presentations to enable the sale of our products and solutions
  • Discuss requirements with business stakeholders and technical users, verifying the interoperability of solutions within the customer’s environment
  • Collaborate with internal experts and partners to help make customers successful
  • Support RFI/RFP completion by answering technical questions for customers
  • Guide customers on technical solution design and architecture

The Experience You Bring

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present at the Executive level
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in software development, implementation, or presales involving enterprise applications and solutions (ERPs, CRMs, 3PLs)
  • Working understanding of cloud architectures, their underlying technologies and security
  • Value-selling experience
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure that solutions meet both business and technical objectives
  • Experience working with different industries (e.g. financial services, logistics, pharma, healthcare, manufacturing)


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience beyond enterprise integration into complementary technologies including event-driven architecture, API management, master data management, and artificial intelligence
  • Experience with other SaaS and iPaaS technologies

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this position in Vancouver, British Columbia, ranges from 120,000-155,000 CAD annually (inclusive of commission). Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
