Risk Services of Louisiana, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in Houston, TX.

As an Account Manager, you’ll manage the daily servicing and retention of accounts, provide expert coverage guidance, and collaborate with producers and account executives to ensure exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and retain an assigned book of business, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.

  • Place new and renewal business by collaborating with producers and following established workflows.

  • Answer coverage questions, recommend solutions, and process policy changes, endorsements, audits, and certificates.

  • Issue insurance documents, reconcile accounts, collect premiums, and assist clients with service needs and escalations.

  • Identify account rounding and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client protection.

  • Maintain accurate client information in AMS360 and follow commercial lines procedures using available reference tools.

  • Stay current on market trends, products, pricing, and underwriting criteria.

  • Analyze renewal premiums, identify variances, and propose competitive alternatives.

  • Participate in renewal strategy discussions and collaborate with Marketing and carriers.

  • Mentor and support new team members as needed and contribute to a positive team culture.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager or Producer.

  • Active Property & Casualty license.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in interpreting insurance documents.

  • Proficiency with basic office software and comfort learning agency systems.

  • Industry designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU, etc.) preferred—or willingness to pursue one within 5 years.
