We are seeking an experienced Clinical Business Analyst – Clinical Documentation to support a major provincial Clinical Information Solution (CIS) transformation in New Brunswick.
The program is focused on transitioning from multiple standalone hospital information systems to a unified, standardized, and integrated CIS across the province. The successful candidate will support the standardization and implementation of clinical documentation practices, workflows, templates, and clinical content used by physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Clinical Informatics, Clinical Documentation, Inpatient Medicine, Acute Care, and EHR/CIS implementations.
RequirementsUniversity degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
5+ years of experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, Clinical Business Analyst, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience specifically involving Clinical Documentation, including: - Requirements gathering
- Workshop facilitation
- Use case analysis
- Business process analysis
- Detailed design activities
- Business analysis documentation
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Clinical Informatics Analyst on a large-scale acute-care digital health transformation or CIS/EHR implementation.
Direct experience with Clinical Information Systems (CIS), EHR, or EMR implementation at a comparable scale.
Demonstrated experience developing clinical deliverables supporting Inpatient Medicine.
Strong understanding of acute-care clinical workflows and documentation practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical stakeholders, SMEs, project teams, and healthcare professionals.
