As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll be the connector between business goals and smart technology. You’ll uncover opportunities to improve how we work and help drive impactful system enhancements that support our growth and performance. You’re someone who thrives on solving complex problems, bridging business needs with smart tech solutions, and making systems work better - especially in the real estate space. You bring hands-on experience with Yardi, and you know your way around financial systems.

You will

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for system enhancements or new implementations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work closely with the technology teams for system design, development, and implementation.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and alignment.
  • Create detailed documentation including business process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Create test scripts and coordinate testing activities to ensure that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders by establishing clear channels of communication, regularly providing updates on project milestones and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Assist clients by troubleshooting technical issues and offering training where needed.
  • Manage project resources, timelines and budgets to ensure that outcomes are of high quality and high value.
  • Foster positive relationships within the business by actively listening to stakeholder concerns, addressing issues promptly, demonstrating reliability and consistently delivering successful project outcomes that align with Anthem’s goals.

You have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of accounting practices.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a complex business environment .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, creating business cases and documentation using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and familiarity with project management practices using tools such are JIRA, Asana or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Expertise in working with and supporting Yardi (configuration/setup, workflows, reporting etc.) is a requirement. Experience working with NewStar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, especially PowerBI, would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with APIs is a plus.
  • Experience with related technologies such as Power Automate, PowerApps, SQL, or other relevant tools is a plus.

Pay range: $80,000 - $115,000, depending on experience
