The leader will design and oversee organization-level development and engagement initiatives, manage communications standards, and lead the center of excellence for change management, agile coaches, and project management. This role will be a member of the cybersecurity leadership team and report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Purpose and Impact
The Business Operations leader will oversee the cybersecurity capital and operating portfolio, finance planning and execution, operating model implementation, and continuous improvement programs. The leader will design and oversee organization-level development and engagement initiatives, manage communications standards, and lead the center of excellence for change management, agile coaches, and project management. This role will be a member of the cybersecurity leadership team and report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Key Accountabilities
- Cyber Portfolio and Finance Planning & Execution: Oversees the planning, budgeting, tracking and prioritization of the cybersecurity portfolio. Ensures financial alignment with organizational commitments, establishes total cost of ownership practices, and identifies opportunities to better invest Cargill's financial resources.
- Operating Model Implementation & Continuous Improvement: With operating peers, designs and implements effective operating models that result in clarity of accountability, simplicity of process, and appropriate allocation of resources to meet our business demands. Leads the practice to identify and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our operating effectiveness.
- Organizational Development & Engagement: Leads the design, development, and deployment of initiatives that foster positive organizational culture, grow our pipeline of talent for future leadership and support our retention, diversity, development and engagement goals.
- Communications: Develop and oversee standards and practices that assure our communications with stakeholders are clear, direct, purposeful, and aligned with DT&D and Cargill outcomes.
- Change Management & Agile Coaching: Lead the center of excellence for change management, agile coaching, scrum masters, and project management, assuring that the broader cybersecurity organization is implementing best practices in change management, product centric operations, and agile methodologies.
- Collaboration: Serves as the primary operational interface with HR, Finance, Strategy and Procurement teams. Cultivates collaboration with and across cybersecurity peer teams.
- Team Management: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals by allocating resources, ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress, and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field
- 5 plus year of relevant work experience
- Two plus years of supervisory experience
- Expert understanding of Cyber Portfolio and Financial Planning
- Experience in Continuous improvement & Change management process
- Expertise leading partnerships on cross functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- High aptitude in thinking strategically and incorporating business needs
- Capacity to think outside the box with agile approach
- Proven experience providing direction, delegating and removing obstacles for team
