Job DescriptionAECOM Canada is searching for a Business Development Supervisor for a full-time, hybrid position based out of Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform extensive strategy and business development for internal and external clients.
Plans, organizes and implements business development activities for engineering and construction markets at regional and national levels.
Collaborate closely with marketing, project management, geotechnical, and multidisciplinary teams to develop capture strategies, prepare proposals, define commercial approaches, and deliver competitive bids.
Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring effective communication and alignment between clients and AECOM project managers.
as Senior Engineer, provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Prepares and deliver technical presentations and innovative solutions to clients demonstrates technical expertise.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering,
6 or more years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
Must be registered as a P.Eng.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering on complex multidisciplinary projects.
Preferred to have federal, provincial and municipal government project experience.
Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
Collaborative team player with proven ability to build strong working relationships across disciplines
