ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in insurance, preferably in property insurance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing business processes within the insurance operations and brokering.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and claims adjusters, to gather and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and understanding of business needs.
  • Ensure that business processes and operations comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of business processes.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and recommendations.
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business requirements and process improvements.
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, including products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  •  Knowledge of insurance brokering operations and best practices.
  •  Strong problem-solving skills to address business challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically to drive business improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
