The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong grasp of functional business operations and provide technical support to the business unit through structured and ad hoc analysis and reporting. Proficiency in SQL coding is essential for designing and implementing new processes and reports.
Position Purpose: Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function.
Provides functional business knowledge and technical support to the business unit through developed and ad hoc analysis/reporting , as well as designing and programming new processes/reports. Acts as subject matter expert for department or business unit on business systems/applications. Analyzes company functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications to ensure effective operational use.
- Develops ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis and validation
- Research, evaluate and assess the financial impact of issues identified in data/processes.
- Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems
- Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or to improve existing business systems.
- Acts as content expert to provide business and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, technical design, programming and documentation of business applications/systems.
- Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
- Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation
- Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
- Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
- Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units
- Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
Experience in relevant data mining using SQL, Oracle or similar depending upon departmental requirements. Project management experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is also required.
Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
