Job Description:
The Writer will be responsible of creating, updating, and maintaining internal and client-facing technical documentation relating to:
- Applications developed by the company
- User Training Manuals
- Context Sensitive Help Documentation
- Release Notes
- User and Quick Start Guides
Responsibilities:
- Describe the functionalities of the software and updates/develop client-facing technical documentation
- Popularize technical concepts to facilitate user understanding.
- Translate existing documentation and other materials as required, mostly from English to French, while ensuring a high level of grammatical and spelling accuracy.
- Strict adherence to style guides, both in writing and formatting, to ensure uniformity across all documentation.
- Work in collaboration with a Senior Technical Writer.

Responsabilités
- Décrire les fonctionnalités du logiciel et les mises à jour/développer la documentation technique orientée client.
- Vulgariser les concepts techniques pour faciliter la compréhension des utilisateurs.
- Traduire la documentation existante et d'autres documents selon les besoins, principalement de l'anglais au français, tout en assurant un haut niveau d'exactitude grammaticale et orthographique.
- Respect rigoureux des guides stylistiques, tant au niveau de la rédaction que du formatage, afin d'assurer l'uniformité de toute la documentation.
- Travailler en collaboration avec un rédacteur technique senior.

- Bachelor’s Degree, preference given to majors in Technical Writing, Communications, English Language, French Language, Journalism, or Information Technology Bilingual (French and English) a Must
- 3+ years of related work experience as a Technical Writer
- Experience in writing bilingual IT documentation.
- Demonstrated communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative communication style and a proactive, positive disposition.
- Exhibits enthusiasm, integrity, reliability, and respect for diversity.
Nice to Have
- Experience in interactive guide design
- Knowledge of common business processes within the property and casualty industry OR construction industry
- Knowledge of WalkMe, MadCap Flare, Computer Assisted Translation Tools (a definite asset).

Qualifications professionnelles

Annual Pay Range
