The Marketing and Events Coordinator is an energetic and proactive individual with a results-oriented attitude who coordinates workflow activities, assists with content creation and delivery, marketing projects, and events within the Marketing team. They are customer service focused and able to multitask competing priorities. They will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing.
The following is an outline of this job's general nature and level of work performed. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.
Your top responsibilities will include supporting the Marketing initiatives for our residential division with ongoing projects, campaign coordination and assisting with content creation to promote our products and services within the customer lifecycle. Some event planning and coordination for approximately 40 events annually of varying complexity, both regionally and nationally to support our Sales and Operations Teams is required - This includes but is not limited to booking venues, catering, A/V bookings, invitations, RSVP tracking, invite follow ups and promotional materials required. You will work in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Operational teams to strengthen brand awareness through development and distribution of marketing tools and collateral such as product sheets, Website content, conference handouts, email case studies and swag in both official languages, English and French.
- You will maintain and coordinate a communication content calendar for promotional emails, and social media postings and Web site updates.
- You will ensure parity with all outputs to ensure they are accurately delivered in both English and French.
- You will oversee production and updates/changes to content on our Web site, collateral handouts, and any other branded content that focuses on our customers.
- You will manage our SWAG inventory and ordering; shipping of sales materials for trade shows, conferences, social events, etc.
- You will track marketing related expenses for events and various initiatives.
- You will take on coordination and support of ongoing marketing projects, collaborating with multiple departments, teams and users
- You will ensure that our branding standards are adhered to across teams
- 1-2 years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Sales support or similar roles, preferably within the Mortgage industry, or financial services in a combined B2B and B2C business model.
- Experience working with CRM systems covering Sales/Servicing/Marketing clouds preferred.
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Able to perform well in a fast-paced operation, and with repetitive tasks
- Multi-task, with the ability to cope with deadline pressures
- Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills when interacting with internal company staff and external customers and vendors; both in English and French
- You have a well-rounded understanding of Google productivity tools like Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.
- You are comfortable using AI tools like Google Gemini or similar.
