What We’re Looking For  

No prior experience is necessary to join our team. We provide full training once you have obtained your Level 1 General Insurance License.

As an Auto Insurance Trainee, you’ll play a key role in driving business success. You’ll actively sell insurance solutions, hit performance targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a results-focused role ideal for someone with a competitive edge and a passion for personal growth. 

Requirements 

  • Level 1 General Insurance License  

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience   

  • Previous insurance experience preferred  

A Day in the Life 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners 

  • Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets 

  • Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more 

  • Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics 

  • Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 - $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
