We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Auditor to join our Risk Management team in Langley, BC.  
 

Reporting to the Manager, Risk and Audit, you will be responsible for supporting audits, engaging with key stakeholders across the business, and helping identify risks and opportunities to enhance operations. In this role, you will collaborate with business teams to understand how audits contribute to overall success while building relationships, aligning with business goals, and enhancing processes and risk management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in collaboration with business units to identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Supporting audit execution with a focus on understanding business operations, ensuring that audit findings align with business objectives.

  • Reviewing records, reports, and documentation to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.

  • Communicating with business leaders and teams to gather insights, ensuring audit recommendations are practical and relevant to business needs.

  • Assisting in identifying opportunities to enhance internal controls, compliance, and operational performance.

  • Gaining exposure to business processes and building skills to become a trusted advisor, focusing on continuous professional growth and understanding business dynamics.

You have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a field relevant to the grocery industry.

  • A strong interest in business processes and risk management.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle, with the ability to travel to store locations on an as-needed basis.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in auditing, is considered an asset.

You are:

  • Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written.

  • Capable of handling sensitive information with tact and confidentiality.

  • Able to build relationships with internal stakeholders.

Compensation Details:

$81,920.00 - $102,400.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
