What You’ll Do

  • Research customer and market needs and requirements
  • Conduct hands-on and external analysis of competitive products
  • Own the product life cycle of one or more products
  • Write requirements in Agile Methodology and create wireframes
  • Fulfill scrum duties of a Product Manager as needed, including conducting sprint planning and reviewing meetings, and maintaining the product backlog
  • Establish and maintain the product roadmap by prioritizing solutions to align with market opportunities
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to establish a Product roadmap based on relative priorities
  • Work collaboratively with Architecture, Engineering, QA, and UI developers to develop solutions that meet market needs and demands
  • Work closely with the development team to meet release milestones
  • Conduct product demonstrations for internal stake holders, partners and key prospects

Experience You’ll Bring

  • 2 years of experience in a software development, quality assurance or product support role
  • Excellent attention to detail, demonstrating awareness of the urgency of communication while exhibiting diplomacy during daily interactions
  • Good technical knowledge of IP-related networks, architecture, design, and management as it relates to telecommunications and managed to host industries
  • Demonstrated understanding of agile software development and product life cycle
  • Excellent writing, communications, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers
  • Polish and professionalism in creating and delivering presentations and training sessions to a diverse set of groups, customizing messaging to suit the audience
  • Ability to effectively conduct formal and informal training sessions or presentations.
  • Solid multi-tasking and problem-resolution abilities
  • The ability to effectively and efficiently instruct and guide customers on-site, online, and via telephone is essential
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Quick learner with a desire to learn new tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside your immediate team to achieve desired business results
  • MBA + Computer Science or Engineering degree a plus
  • Solid understanding of the latest software technologies, trends, and strategies
  • Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server experience a plus
  • Completion of Pragmatic Marketing’s “Practical Product Management” course or other equivalent courses a plus
