Days of Work: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00 pm
Work Location: On-site (North Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $68,490 to $92,462 Annually
Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Position Objective:
Design control and associated protective systems for generators and motors for commercial, industrial, and military applications.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision of more senior level Engineers:
- Assist in design control systems which conform to functional specifications and detailed customer requirements.
- Communicates with Sales team to support custom quoting and answer customer inquiries
- Review and identify critical components within industry standards and customer specific requirements with regard to machine control and protection, design, and LSNA manufacturing practices and capacity
- Process incoming orders using a variety of tools and software packages
- Participate in supporting applicable manufacturing and testing systems
- Utilizes current ERP/PLM systems when processing orders
Experience/Skills:
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical power fundamentals and the ability to adapt readily to using customized LSNA design software
- Candidate must be a US citizen as Kato Engineering contracts through the US Department of Defense
Education:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical science field) required.
