Purpose of Position:The Asset Health Product Specialist serves as the technical authority and operational enabler for Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions, Asset Health solution within the MineOperations Portfolio. This role ensures the successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of Asset Health by providing deep product expertise, supporting field implementations, contributing to documentation and training materials, and acting as a key liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and end‑user operations. The position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and real‑world mining operations, offering opportunities to influence product direction, solve complex technical problems, and directly impact customer outcomes.
Major Areas of Responsibility:- Technical Expertise & Support: Serve as an expert for the Asset Health product, including telemetry flows, OEM integrations, dashboards, and backend architecture.
- Support field trials and deployments: Participate in and support customer deployments, pilot programs, and field validation activities, troubleshooting technical issues related to server configuration, authentication systems, telemetry ingestion, certificates, and installation processes.
- Documentation Ownership: Contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and technical requirements documentation in collaboration with technical writers, engineering, QA, and PM.
- Customer Engagement & Success Enablement: Work closely with Customer Success teams to support investigations, interpret Asset Health insights, and help customers apply data to maintenance, planning, and operational decision-making.
- Product Feedback & Roadmap Contribution: Gather use cases, field learnings, and customer requirements to help inform product strategy and roadmap decisions, ensuring that real-world needs are captured and prioritized.
- Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training content for internal teams, external partners, and customers, including materials for Mining University, workshops, demonstrations, and product onboarding.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering, Deployment, Documentation, QA, Customer Success, and Product Management to ensure product alignment, improve installation workflows, and maintain consistency across teams.
- Experience with software product support, deployment, or applications engineering in an industrial or technical domain.
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows system configuration.
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create or contribute to technical documentation.
- Experience with industrial telemetry, machine health monitoring, or mining technology solutions.
- Familiarity with OEM sensors, data pipelines, SCADA, or condition‑based maintenance systems.
- Background in IoT, industrial analytics, fleet management, or heavy equipment diagnostics.
- Experience contributing to product roadmaps, feature requirements, or customer‑driven solution design.
- Occasional domestic and international travel is required for field trials, customer site visits, and deployment support.
- Expected travel: 10–20%, depending on project load and customer needs.
