Who Are We?

At CMLS Financial, we strike a unique balance: the financial strength of a 50-year industry leader with the energy of a dynamic, fast-paced firm.

  • Growth & Exposure: With over $45 billion in assets under administration, our "booming" business means you gain high-level exposure and real opportunities for career advancement.
  • Supportive Culture: We are professional yet enjoyable. We provide a challenging environment supported by a team that wants you to succeed.
  • National Reach: Work with Canada’s most prominent banks, investment managers, and pension funds from a platform with offices coast to coast.

Our Investor Services team is growing and we’re seeking an Analyst who thrives when managing complex data. You will act as the primary link between our mortgage portfolios and our investors, turning raw data into accurate, reliable reports that drive our business forward.

Where You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Investor Reporting: Facilitate daily file delivery and ensure accurate remittance and trial balance reporting for our network of investors.
  • Data Integrity & Investigation: Conduct daily audits of loan data. When discrepancies arise, you will perform root-cause analysis to resolve errors efficiently.
  • Securitization Support: Assist in the process of pooling insured loans for third-party sale and ensure ongoing compliance with CMHC insurance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for external investors via email and phone, while working internally with our underwriting, funding, and finance teams to ensure seamless loan lifecycle management.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to a growing team by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical, outcomes-focused solutions.

What We Value:

  • Post-secondary education in finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in financial services, mortgage, or real estate industry
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally, communicating with clarity and building professional rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You take personal responsibility for the quality of your work, seeing every task through from the first step to the final completion.
  • You are disciplined and detail-oriented, keeping your workflow organized so that you can easily manage high volumes of information without sacrificing accuracy.
  • You are an investigative problem-solver comfortable using Excel to maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies in large datasets.
