How do you fit in?
Central Alberta Midstream Operations Team currently has an opening for an Administrative Assistant role. This position will be based out of the Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant (EEEP) office. This position will report to the Central Alberta Operations Manager and will provide administrative support for all the Central Alberta Midstream Operations facilities. (Edmonton, Joffre & Fort Saskatchewan)
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain seamless operation of the Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant Office and provide remote admin support for the Joffre (JEEP) facility. Collaborate with the Fort Saskatchewan admin team as needed.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally. Distribute information to facility employees through various communication channels.
- Manage site access, including greeting staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Review, code, and forward invoices. Create requisitions, submit change orders, manage blanket POs, receive items, and follow up on approvals.
- Schedule training courses, order PPE, track associated costs, and ensure monthly HSE KPIs are tracked and reported. File and upload monthly PMs.
- Complete Expense/P-Card reports, including coding, compiling receipts, and submitting for yourself and others.
- Provide Administrative expertise, order office supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with IT for internal issues.
- Coordinate community investment initiatives, including local donation
- Provide vacation coverage and handle errands such as retrieving mail, picking up materials, and making field deliveries.
What you must have:
- Minimum grade 12 education; post-secondary training is an asset. Proven experience in an administrative role, including office administration and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, high attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with JDE & Maximo is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Where you’ll be working:
This position is located at our office in Edmonton Alberta. The Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant (EEEP) is located within the city limits in south Edmonton, Alberta. EEEP is a gas extraction straddle plant with a gross production capacity of 23,000 Bbls/d of specification ethane and 7,500 Bbls/d of natural gas liquids (NGLs). It is connected to several pipeline systems, which provides the opportunity for valuable liquids such as ethane, propane, and butane to be processed for commercial and industrial use.
