Own paid acquisition across Google, Bing, Meta, and YouTube, scaling campaigns from creative production through launch, optimization, and attribution. Produce high-volume ad assets using AI tools, manage full-funnel campaigns, improve campaign processes, automate repetitive work, and analyze CAC, ROAS, payback, and product activation data. The role requires hands-on Google Ads expertise, creative production skills, subscription funnel experience, and strong ownership in a remote startup environment.
Fireflies.ai is the AI-powered notetaker used by 20M+ users across 500K+ organizations, including 75% of the Fortune 500. We're profitable, privately held, and valued at $1B on just $19M raised. We're building the future of work, where AI captures, understands, and acts on every important conversation.
We run a growing seven-figure paid budget, and we've only really scaled one channel: Google Search. Not because the others don't work, but because we've never had someone who could produce and ship creative at the volume paid social demands.
This is not a media-buying seat. Meta and YouTube have gotten good enough at targeting that the lever isn't bid tweaking anymore; it's how many good assets you can put into the machine, how fast, and how well you read what comes back. We want someone who briefs the creative, makes a lot of it themselves with AI tools, ships it, reads the numbers, and does it again next week.
Ship creative at volume
- The asset pipeline end to end: brief → produce → launch → iterate. Statics, video cuts, hooks, ad copy variations.
- AI tooling as your default production method, not a novelty. If you're waiting on a designer for every variant, this will feel slow.
- Working with our designers and video editors on the things that genuinely need them, and handling the rest yourself.
Run and scale the channels
- Google Ads and Bing are our biggest paid revenue channels, and currently under-invested. Own it properly.
- Build Meta and YouTube into real acquisition channels from a standing start.
- Full-funnel: awareness → consideration → conversion, plus retargeting.
- Take our multi-product launches to market. Our email assistant and personal assistant each deserve their own campaigns, not a shared one.
Operate without becoming a bottleneck
- Build the campaign setup, naming, QA and launch processes so this role is repeatable rather than held in one person's head.
- Automate the manual work. Campaign builds, bulk uploads, copy variations, reporting, and if you're doing it by hand twice, script it.
- Communicate in the open, on your own initiative.
Read the numbers and act
- Own CAC, ROAS, payback and full-funnel attribution, from ad platform through to product activation.
- Work in our cross-platform reporting stack and tell us what to do differently, not just what happened.
Who we're looking for:
- 3+ years running paid acquisition where you personally touched the work. We care far more about what you've shipped than where you've worked.
- Show us the work: campaigns you built, creative you made, before-and-after numbers. A portfolio or a Loom walkthrough beats a resume here.
- Genuinely AI-native. You've replaced real parts of your workflow with AI tooling and can explain exactly how. This is our hardest filter.
- Strong on Google Ads specifically: structure, keyword strategy, bidding, scaling.
- You can make things: video cuts, statics, hooks. Not to art-director standard, but enough to test an idea this week rather than next month.
- Comfortable with subscription and self-serve funnels, and US-market acquisition.
- You could come from DTC, consumer subscription, gaming, an agency, or a performance-led startup. A B2B SaaS background is not required.
- High energy, vocal, takes ownership. You over-communicate by default, and you close loops.
This probably isn't the role for you if:
- Your experience is mostly strategy decks, agency management, or coordinating other people's work.
- You'd need a designer for every creative variant.
- You want a defined brief handed to you each quarter.
- You're primarily a brand or product marketer. Those are real skills, and we hire for them separately, just not here.
Why this role matters:
Google Search is our biggest paid revenue channel, and it's been under-attended for months. Meta and YouTube are effectively unopened. We're going multi-product, and each product needs its own campaigns. You aren't inheriting a mature machine to maintain, and you're getting a channel portfolio with one thing working and a lot of headroom, and a company that will fund it as fast as it proves out.
You'll report directly to our Head of Growth & Engineering, work alongside our designers and video editors, and have a direct line to the CEO on creative direction. No layers.
- Competitive pay
- Work remotely from anywhere in your country
- Room to move laterally and grow fast
- Paid time off and a flexible leave policy
- No-boss culture and flexible hours
- Company offsites and virtual retreats
- Tech reimbursements
How we hire:
A short async written screen or AI screening fun chat, a call with the HR hiring manager, a practical exercise (real output, not a strategy deck), a panel conversation, and a final chat with our CEO or CTO. We move fast, and we'll tell you where you stand.
Apply here, or email [email protected] with a link to work you've shipped. If you know someone who fits better than you do, send it to them.
We are an equal-opportunity employer and strongly value diversity, because our team is stronger with different perspectives and experiences. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
