Job Description
Motorola Solutions, a Security Solutions company, provides trusted security solutions to the global market via a Business to Business model. This division of Motorola comprises the video security products under the Pelco, Multi-Sight, IndigoVision, and Avigilon brands. Together, we design, develop, and manufacture video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Avigilon’s solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.
We are looking to hire an intern with interest in building new AI/LLM tools within an existing Data and Analytics team. You will work closely with our internal teams to learn how our business operates, our varied and rich data sources including structured and unstructured data to deliver value back to stakeholders and help the business change how it operates. This is a high impact position in a high impact team that already has experience building AI/LLM apps, but is looking to supercharge our AI/LLM growth and adoption process both internally and across the business. You have a build-and-iterate mentality, understanding that searching for the perfect solution slows progress.
Responsibilities:
- Understand our data ecosystem and all of the data resources we have available to us in it.
- Developing a deep understanding of the business, its data, its patterns and our customers.
- Assist building our AI tools & infrastructure and ensure it works with our existing data ecosystem.
- Ensure the developed tools are intuitive and easy to use for business stakeholders.
- Working with data engineers to ensure we have the necessary data sources available to build these tools.
- Help define and refine new tools to maximize business impact.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years working with SQL (Snowflake preferred)
- At least 1 year experience working with Python
- At least 1 year working with LLM prompting
- At least 1 year working with python Web App platforms (preferred Flask or Django)

- Experience performing data analysis with Python, Pandas, and Seaborn.

Target Base Hourly Range: CAD $28/hr-$30.50/hr
