This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in both agile development, product management and delivery, particularly in an agile environment. The successful candidate will be involved in the management of software development processes for Sales, Research, and Data Technology platforms, with a 70% emphasis on Product Delivery and 30% on Agile Leadership.

Job responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert on Agile Software Delivery, advising and coaching development teams on Scrum and Scaled Agile Delivery.
- Promote continual improvement of the development team by establishing data-driven metrics such as definition of ready for backlog, definition of done, story point, time-based velocity charts, and churn to measure stories and tasks moved from sprint to sprint.
- Manage projects against aggressive client commitments and deadlines, ensuring ordered and well-documented product backlogs, whilst being commercially aware and mindful of costs vs benefits in everything we do.
- Work with Product Director and other Senior Stakeholders across the organization to understand strategic goals for the product and build a 0-18-month roadmap that is bold and achievable.
- Contribute to the overall Product Vision, define OKRs, and prioritization Product Backlog items.
- Direct program management of complex features delivery & cross-team dependencies to contribute to the success of the tea, including budget management coordination during the annual planning process.
- Track the value delivered from the Technology investment to ensure the hard work of the Engineering teams is monetized.
- Produce clear and transparent project governance and reporting processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7 years or more experience as a Senior Programme, Product Lead or Agile Lead.
- Solid background in FX or equivalent asset class.
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the delivery life cycle, preferably in an agile environment.
- Manage projects against aggressive client commitments and deadlines, ensuring ordered and well-documented product backlogs.
- Resourceful individual who is detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with a wide audience varying in degrees of seniority and ability to develop effective relationships with key business partners. An ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts, and solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in technology landscape including eCommerce, pricing, trading, settlement, payments, and customer relationship management.
- Expertise in resolving conflicting priorities and skilfully navigating delivery teams.
- Significant experience with the agile software development framework, with substantial experience in high-pressure, time-critical environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills - to present to a range of stakeholders from senior internal managers, external clients, regulators, and development teams.
- Ability to extract meaningful data and metrics from the development process to enable continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently, own issues to resolution, and be self-motivated to achieve the best results for clients.
- Experience managing projects using Jira and Confluence.
